Where does the map data come from? OpenStreetMap & license
MyCityMap uses open map data, so any place in the world can be on your poster.
OpenStreetMap
The map data comes from OpenStreetMap, a world map made by volunteers. The data is © OpenStreetMap contributors and available under the Open Database License (ODbL).
OpenFreeMap tiles
The map is drawn from OpenFreeMap vector tiles, which are based on OpenStreetMap data. Because they are vectors, the map stays sharp in the SVG and PDF downloads.
Search
Searching for places and addresses uses Photon (komoot) for suggestions while you type, with Nominatim, the search service of OpenStreetMap, as a fallback.
