Who is responsible
MyCityMap (mycitymap.app) is run by Consult IT!, Koninginnepage 5, 7826 GJ Emmen, The Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 73541206. Consult IT! is the controller for the personal data described here. Questions: erwin@consultit.nl.
Using the editor without an account
You can use the editor without an account. Your designs and language choice are then stored only in your own browser (local storage / IndexedDB), not on our server.
Account
If you create an account, we store your email address, an optional name and your password as a secure hash. Projects you save to your account are stored on our server. We use this only to provide your account and your downloads.
Orders and payments
For a paid download we store your email address, the products you bought, the amount and the payment status. Payments are handled by Stripe; we do not receive or store your card or bank details. We keep order and invoice data for 7 years, as Dutch tax law requires.
Location search and map tiles
When you search for a place, your search text is sent via our server to Nominatim (OpenStreetMap). The map tiles are loaded by your browser from OpenFreeMap, which means your IP address is visible to that service.
Statistics
We measure visits with Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that we host ourselves. Umami does not use cookies and does not build personal profiles.
Cookies
We only use a functional cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its use. Send an email to erwin@consultit.nl. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
